MMA BUSHIDO FC RULES


Article 1.   The ring shall be larger than 6.5m by 6.5m square shape, approved by the promoter.

Article 2.   The length of a fight and the interval between each round shall be in the following manner.

Section 1.  Tournament fight shall be five (5) minutes x three (3) rounds format. The interval between each round shall be one and a half (1:30) minute.

Section 2.  Title fight shall be five (5) minutes x four (4) rounds format. The interval between each round shall be one and a half (1:30) minute.

Section 3.  The length and the interval between each round of a fight other than above-mentioned are determined by the promoter and should be described in the contract document.

Weight categories:

Bantamweight -60kg,

Featherweight -65kg,

Lightweight -70kg,

Welterweight -77kg,

Middleweight -84kg,

Light heavyweight -93kg,

Heavyweight +93kg;

Article 3.   The costume and equipment shall be in the following manner.

Section 1. The fighters shall wear open finger gloves provided by the promoter.

Section 2. The fighters shall wear spat, boxer shorts, Judo uniform, Jiu-jitsu gi, Sambo uniform or wrestling singlet as a general rule.

Section 3. Fighters may wear kneepads, elbow-pads, shin guards, tape and ankle supporter.

Section 4. Any costume and supporters must be approved at the rules review done before the event by the competition officials.

Section 5. Any costume and supporters must be approved by competition officials on the event day to ensure that the costume and the supporters are the ones previously approved.

Section 6. Mouthpiece and a foul cup usage are mandatory for all fighters, and must be prepared by the fighter.

Section 7. All costumes and equipments should not have any ornament that is decided harder than the surface of human body by competition officials.  Also, all costumes and equipments should not have any kind of fastener and pocket.

Article 4.   The use of tapes and bandages to the fists shall be in the following manner.

Section 1.  Fighters may use tapes and bandages.

Section 2.  Only the bandages provided by the promoter shall be allowed to use.

Section 3.  The use of tapes that is twisted into a string is prohibited.

Section 4.  All tapes and bandages must be approved and sealed with a sign by competition officials before the fight.

Section 5.  All fighters must unseal groves and bandages under observation of competition officials after the fight.  When any illegal act is detected, it will result in penalties, including confiscation of a title, prize money, and full amount (100%) of fight fee.
